Roundly tracks who's fetching, calculates the fairest split, and keeps your crew in the same place. So you can focus on the beer.
I've been going to festivals like Lowlands for years. The group started small, grew into something large, and that was genuinely great, right up until they scrapped the tokens. After that, keeping track of rounds stopped making sense. People would drift off into smaller groups, buy drinks for whoever was nearby, and by the end of the day nobody had any idea where they stood financially. Or physically, for that matter.
We tried a few things to fix it. None of them worked. My only real skill apart from drinking beer is writing code.
So I built
Partly to solve the rounds problem, partly to stop the constant "where are you, which stage?" texts that nobody ever answered in time anyway.
Add who's in, pick the drinks from your group's shared price list, and submit the round. Every order is recorded against the fetcher, so nothing gets lost or debated at the end of the night.
Spin the wheel, let it pick. It uses your device's motion sensor, so the harder you shake it, the longer it spins. The result is final. No arguments.
Roundly calculates the fewest transactions needed to square everyone up. No mental maths, no spreadsheets, no arguments about who owes what. Confirm each payment and close out the tab.
Set your stage, see where everyone else is. No more "where are you?" texts that go unanswered because everyone's phone is dead and the music is too loud.
Leaderboard, drink breakdown, round counts, biggest spender. All the data you need to work out who the real MVP is, and who's been suspiciously absent at the bar.
Build a shared price list for your group. Add drinks, set prices, update them live. Prices are locked in when a round is created, so nothing changes after the fact.
Every round edit and deletion is on the record. The full history is always there, so there's no room for "I didn't do that" at 2am.
Download Roundly and keep your group sorted, all festival long.
